Department of Architecture at Bilkent University (BUDA) invites applications for appointments at the rank of instructor starting as early as Spring 2024 semester. We seek to hire a multi-disciplinary collaborative candidate who is able to teach across departments in the Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture. Positions are open until they are filled.

Department of Architecture comprises faculty members from different research backgrounds such as, history and theory of architecture, archeology, computational design, architectural engineering, acoustics, etc. The aim of Department of Architecture is to graduate students with architectural skills that will enable them to practice around the world. Design studios rest at the core of the architectural curriculum, supported by courses on a wide variety of topics, such as energy efficiency, environmental concerns, sustainability, construction and preservation of historical heritage. Faculty members are expected to engage in creative teaching, scholarly research, and service to the department.
