Department of Architecture comprises faculty members from different research backgrounds such as, history and theory of architecture, archeology, computational design, architectural engineering, acoustics, etc. The aim of Department of Architecture is to graduate students with architectural skills that will enable them to practice around the world. Design studios rest at the core of the architectural curriculum, supported by courses on a wide variety of topics, such as energy efficiency, environmental concerns, sustainability, construction and preservation of historical heritage. Faculty members are expected to engage in creative teaching, scholarly research, and service to the department.
