For the Spring Term 2019-2020 ARCH 302 focused on the revitalization of Flaminio district in the City of Rome. Flaminio district is a very strategic area for the future development of Rome. It includes wide portions of areas to be fully redeveloped and potential focuses represented by modern key buildings. An area very close to the historical center, yet very different from the compact solidity of the inner city. It offers an urban territory with fragmented portions to be recomposed within a coherent urban texture, and consistent voids to be filled with new programs and plans.
