The conservation of architectural heritage requires reliable tools for the evaluation of structural safety. In this talk, a procedure for the estimation of the average elastic modulus for slender masonry structures is proposed. The procedure is based on experimental measurements and numerical analyses.

Biography:

Milorad Pavlovic received his PhD from Iuav School of Doctorate Studies, in the field of Strength of Materials in 2017. His research interests focus on the conservation of the architectural heritage and structural analyses of masonry buildings.
