A Community of Vertical Agriculture

The design is based on the idea of giving each unit their own space to grow crops. To achieve this idea, vertical agriculture tubes are used. These vertical agriculture tubes also define the interior divisions of the units. Each vertical agriculture tube has its own shafts which also provides mechanical support to the wet spaces of the units. Organization of the vertical gardens and the shafts determines the unification of the units. This provides the opportunity to add or subtract units with time.

The light was a major concern for the design since the vertical agriculture tubes need to take daylight. The choices of site, structure, circulation and facade are made with this concern. Thus, here are the details of the design of the community of vertical agriculture project.
