Order in Chaos

The design idea, Order in Chaos, comes from Selim Turan’s abstract painting. While I am making my research, I realize that there is an order in the painting. At the first look the painting looks like a chaotic whole however, it has an order in it and all lines in the painting getting together through an axis so I used this idea to create my design. Order in Chaos, is actually stands for chaos theory which basically states that small deviations create chaos. So, to be able to create orderly chaos I set some rules and I changed them a little bit in each group. I created my main group with 5 volumes and I emphasized volumes with stick elements. All of the stick elements create a triangular surface to emphasize the volumes more orderly. In each group I changed the connection angle of elements in my groups so that they look similar but not the same. I created my main axis with the edge-to-edge connection of groups and triangular stick surfaces.  I added two branches to my main axis and I colored them green. My main axis is dyed with the tones and tints of red. I used complementary colors to create chaotic look.

The whole design composed with some connection rules. So, I deviated these rules each time and create order in chaos.
