Burak Celik is an award-winning architect and Fulbright Alumnus with over 6 years of international experience in cities like Los Angeles, New York, Istanbul, and Ankara. He holds a Master of Architecture II degree from Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc) in Los Angeles, where his graduate thesis project (Superpositioning) was honored with the 2021 SCI-Arc Gehry Prize, awarded by Frank and Berta Gehry for the year’s best graduate thesis. Burak also graduated from Bilkent University with a Bachelor of Architecture.
In addition to working for top renowned firms in Los Angeles, New York, Istanbul and Ankara, Burak now leads his own architecture firm, serving clients across the globe, particularly in the US. Burak’s design philosophy centers around the idea that architecture is the study of relationships, creating spaces that resonate deeply with the human soul while maintaining sustainability, parametric design and technology at the core of each project, integrating environmentally conscious design principles to reduce energy consumption and promote long-term resilience and aesthetics in buildings. He teaches Architectural Design Studio.
