CoLay

CoLay aims to continue the tradition of Sorkun Village in Eskişehir which is pottery. Pottery is taught in the studios of co-learning spaces. Also, the main material of pottery, clay, gives me a tactile sensation; therefore, various multisensory areas have been used in the design.  Users can experience these areas in the continuation of the river street. Hanged sculptures under the connection bridges, tactile sensory walls, fragrant plants and the living façade which also create an open air-museum stimulate different senses. The permeable facade showing the steel structure also reflects the industrial history of the environment.
