This talk explores the overarching conceptual framework of MELT, illuminating the critical dialogue that characterizes our design and representation process which operates at the intersection of the multifold acts: “finding” and “making.” The talk will begin with a brief explanation of our collaborative practice structure, followed by a presentation of our concept-driven approach through a selection of diverse projects. In this talk, MELT aims to open up a discussion through the acts of finding and making, to go beyond the creation of the designated built environment and explore the potential of architecture as a discursive tool, enabling it to transcend disciplinary boundaries.
