Alp Giray Köse graduated from Bilkent University’s Department of Architecture in 2016 and completed his Advanced Architecture Master’s at the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (IAAC), Barcelona, Spain. Currently, he is in the Building Science Ph.D. program at Middle East Technical University, focusing on the kinetic facade and energy production. He is interested in smart building and city systems, kinetic facades, Arduino coding, and environmental simulations. He worked with many architecture firms as a lead designer and opened his firm in 2020. His projects are mainly on residential and commercial buildings.
