Within the context of Ankara European Heritage Days, the Embassy Residence of the Kingdom of the Netherlands opened its doors to guests on the 16th and 17th of September, 2023. The tour was hosted by the Netherlands Embassy and made possible through the contributions of the Bilkent University Department of Architecture where an elaborate narrative of the Dutch Embassy Residence was provided through the engagement and scholarly endeavors of the faculty members and graduate students from the architecture department. The tour covered significant aspects of the architect, Sedad Hakkı Eldem’s life, his architectural expression, spatial peculiarities of the embassy residence, and the building’s meaningful position within the realm of Turkish architecture. It garnered significant interest from guests of all ages for two consecutive days.
