HERITAGE ANKARA: An Institution for Sustainable Heritage Management

The concept of “Chronotope” represents the formation of distinct spaces within regions characterized by the intersections or boundaries of walls.

In the context of Heritage Ankara, the walls, reminiscent of those in the Ulus pattern, narrate the story of both time and its specific location. Contrary to serving merely as barriers or divisions, these walls function as frameworks fostering attitudes of integration and continuity. This transformative role infuses them with a unique character, ultimately enhancing their contribution to the Heritage Ankara program.
