City Link proposes an approach to address Glasgow’s urban challenges by connecting the city’s social and economic assets. This project intends to promote economic growth, reduce social inequality, establish green infrastructure, and build a low-carbon neighborhood. It encourages production, research, and education while linking Govan and Partick neighborhoods with bridges and paths. The emphasis on industry, research, and educational clusters supports inclusiveness and regional growth. Environmental sustainability is emphasized through a focus on low-carbon transportation, green infrastructure, and water management. The project aims to develop a sustainable and accessible urban environment by merging isolated areas and utilizing the River Clyde.
