The Rough Cut is a museum that aims to connect the cultural axis from the mainland to Yesilada while providing sustainable solutions, such as rainwater collection systems and bioswales, supported by an Aqua Life Production Farm. The site has significant accumulation problem due to the construction of a bridge that connects the islands. A simulation has been created to understand the context better and predict the area’s future. Based on the simulation results, interventions were made to the site’s island section to improve the area’s overall quality. The design also was influenced by the presence of Sivri Tepe and the atmosphere it created Egirdir.
