Gordion Excavation House

Observing the site given in Gordion was the starting point of the project to create an excavation house there. After making some observations about the site and the tumulus, I decided to reflect the tumulus in the excavation house. I started by taking a section of the tumulus; because of its appearance, the concept was created as a reflection of it. The big tree in the middle symbolizes the tumulus. While there are common and living areas near the main road, there are working spaces at the back in order to prevent security issues of historical artifacts. Around the tree, there is a buried sitting area. In order to protect the privacy of work spaces, there are walls placed in an order.
