Bilkent University Department of Architecture is looking for a logo to represent its academic, dynamic, intellectual body of people and knowledge accumulation. The logo should stand for the institutional character of the department while symbolizing architecture as a profession.It should be kept in mind that the logo will most often be used alongside the official logo of Bilkent University.

The competition is open to all graduate and undergraduate students of Department of Architecture and Department of Graphic Design.

In order to join the competition, each student needs to team up with a student from the other department. Each student may submit one entry with one team only.

Make sure that both the hard and soft copy submissions are made under a nickname, representing your team and the submissions do not include details about who you are for blind review. Hand in a sealed envelope along with the hard copy submissions, containing information on the members of the team and the nickname.

Format:

The dimensions of the logo should be not longer than 15 cm. and shorter than 4 cm

Hard copies: printed on vertical A4 in the following color formats:

•A CMYK version
•A RGB version
•A black & white version
•A white version on black

Soft copies: vector files in one single .pdf file.

•Vertical and horizontal application of your logo design

Type If you are using an already existing typeface for your logo design please also add the typeface information in the pdf file.

Award: 3,000tl for the winning team

1,000tl for two mensions.

Hard copies should be handed in to the Department of Architecture Office and the soft copies need to be mailed to: arch@bilkent.edu.tr
