Protection of Open Air Structure: Techniques and methodologies for monumental stone structures in Cebeci Asri Cemetery.
The workshop is articulated into three sessions. The first is an introductory session devoted to present the aims of the work, to illustrate the schedule of the activities, and to frame the expected outcomes. The second session takes place in situ to carry on practical exercitations on a field activity base. The last session is characterized by a studio work to process and edit the information collected during the field activity. Eventually the workshop ends with a presentation of the final results together with a closing discussion.
Participants will be introduced to the preliminary set of procedures in the field of Architectural Heritage Protection such as the recording of the deterioration in buildings structures, the drafting of a descriptive form illustrating the condition of the building, and the editing of a photographic report.
