The Crescendo

Along the site’s pathways, there are spaces of different characters. In some parts, these spaces become landmarks. When the landmarks are mapped, they resemble crescendos along a line. However, the beginning and the end of the line is mute. The proposal intends to balance the line by adding landmarks to the mute parts. For the project, the beginning part was selected. The proposal alters the existing path of the site with ramps that form elevated pathways to provide views and direct people with small partitions that display images of Amasra’s past. It creates an experience between the past and present.
