The Bachelor of Architecture program at Bilkent University is built around a sequence of design studios supported by courses in history and theory, building technology, structures, environmental systems, and the humanities. The curriculum brings together creative design, technical knowledge, and critical thinking to develop a comprehensive understanding of architecture and the built environment.
From the first year onward, students approach design through research, analysis, experimentation, and making. As they progress through the program, they engage with contemporary architectural questions, including sustainability, circularity, digital technologies, and the conservation of the built environment. Professional practice courses and required internships in architectural offices and construction sites prepare graduates for professional practice and advanced study in architecture and related fields.
