The Culinary Complex in Famagusta is designed as a vibrant public destination that responds to the daily needs of residents while celebrating the city’s rich historical heritage. Based on extensive site analysis, a sunken park and central courtyard create a welcoming public space that preserves views of the surrounding historic buildings. The complex features drink-tasting tunnels, coffee-making areas, spice workshops, and cooking stations that encourage interactive experiences. The ground floor hosts a flexible bazaar and exhibition spaces supported by tree-column structures for large, open spans. An accessible ramp connects visitors to upper-level festival terraces and administrative offices, which coordinate activities across the entire Famagusta culinary district.
