Re – Orchestrating Industry project proposes the adaptive reuse of the historic Nazilli Sümerbank Factory by transforming it into a vibrant cultural and productive landscape through a grafting strategy. Instead of preserving the industrial complex as a static monument, the design reconnects production, education, exhibition, and public life by introducing flexible interventions that respect the existing fabric. New corten steel additions, rhythmic pergolas, observation towers, and communal spaces create a dialogue between past, present, and future while revitalizing the site. The project celebrates the factory’s industrial heritage and establishes it as a dynamic urban catalyst that supports creativity, social interaction, and sustainable regeneration.
