“Contradictory Coexistence” is a NGO hub which emerges around the idea of connecting contradicting generations and bringing the ‘Archive’ to future. Eskişehir as an intersection of 2 generations and 2 city centers, the concepts of dialectic and ambivalence support the identity of the city and establish a memory archive. Within the concept, “contradictions meet and transform” while generating the collectivity. The exhibition walls located near the entrance strengthen the main concept and make the visitor assign meaning to the building itself before entering. Furthermore, the main atrium forms spaces that are visually connected to each other that is not only a communication between people but also a way to affect and be affected. Accordingly, material selection reflects the contradiction with aluminum and timber also with concrete and designed as a panel system taking privacy and light conditions into consideration.
