Cevdet Ege Çakır is an architect, educator, and researcher based in Ankara, Türkiye. He received his architectural education at Middle East Technical University (METU), where he developed a particular interest in architectural design, urban space, and the relationship between architecture and society. He completed his master’s degree in Architecture at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) in 2019 with a thesis titled White Elephant: Investigating Transgressive Practices of the Excluded, which examined the relationship between public space, social exclusion, and political architecture.

Çakır is a member of MELT Studio, where his professional practice focuses on architecture, urban interventions, and temporary structures. His work has received recognition in several national architectural competitions, including projects developed with architect Cemre Önertürk. Their projects include DERZ, addressing the reconstruction of public space in Antakya, and ARA[O]DA, a travelling spatial installation developed through a CultureCIVIC-supported project.
