The idea of this design was inspired by the movie, Wall-E, particularly its portrayal of movement, transition and connection within a fragmented environment. Rather than focussing on a single object or movement, the project is inspired by the idea of movement and crossing through the space. Moving through and between the elements is the main idea of the design. The structure which is made up of intersecting planes and linear elements suggests paths and directions. These parts support each other, which creates a sense of movement. By using upcycled materials, the design transforms what seems insignificant into an active part of the composition.
