In Spring 2025, ARCH 252 focused on transforming architectural design ideas into buildable systems through a semester-long group lab. Working from a selected studio project, students developed structural and material strategies, producing full sets of technical drawings—including foundation, framing, wall, floor, stair, and façade systems—alongside two scaled physical models. The lab emphasized real-world construction thinking, requiring accurate documentation, system integration, and representational clarity, culminating in a comprehensive submission that bridged design intention with tectonic resolution.
