The Plegma

The Plegma is a comprehensive urban transit hub located at Dubai Creek, designed to respond to the city’s increasing transportation demands caused by rapid urban growth and high private vehicle use. Addressing severe traffic congestion, the project proposes a centralized hub that unifies multiple modes of mobility. It brings together existing systems such as metro, marine, and road networks with emerging futuristic technologies like Hyperloop and drone taxis within an integrated architectural framework. Strategically positioned at the intersection of major infrastructures, the hub is also designed to function as the central control center for Dubai’s transportation network. The form of the design is derived from Dubai’s circular urban growth pattern, shaped to reflect the city’s spatial logic and connectivity.
