Occupational Therapy Center

This project, located in Etimesgut, targets elderly individuals with Alzheimer and children with autism. It aims to enhance their fine motor skills, cognitive functions, and emotional adaptability through occupational therapies. The design follows a narrowing U-shaped layout, with each architectural mass include distinct functions.

The elderly units are positioned on the upper floor, facing the park for a calming visual connection, and include a dedicated ramp. Art therapy classrooms for both groups are located on the ground floor and the sensory hall stands out as an independent volume designed especially for children with autism. It supports sensory development and doubles as an exhibition space. The hexagonal courtyard promotes social interaction while referencing the nearby special education school. Though enclosed for privacy, it gradually connects to the adjacent park, offering a secure yet inclusive therapeutic environment.
