My project aims to support and revitalize traditional craftsmanship in Adana by creating a dynamic, multi-functional building near the historic Taş Köprü. The ground floor hosts permanent local artisan stores focused on textiles, carpets, wood, and copper—materials deeply rooted in Adana’s identity. These stores not only sell products but also showcase live production processes. In the basement, workshops and exhibition spaces are located; this floor is connected to the ground floor through voids and staircases, forming a lively, continuous public space. The first floor acts as a symbolic horizontal mass that brings together different artistic disciplines. This level includes an R&D and incubation center where students and professionals can collaborate with artisans. A double façade system improves climate performance while also serving as a display of traditional materials. The historic Çiftçiler Birliği building has been preserved by inserting a transparent display area inside, which is visible from both the interior through ramps and from Taş Köprü.
