“Vital Nexus” is a community-cultural center designed with the interactions of historical and offered grids, creating fluid and dynamic spaces that is located in the historic core of Adana. With the combination of circular and angular shapes, contemporary and traditional materials through secondary envelope system, Vital Nexus combines contemporary and history in a one space. A central high-line pedestrian road, filled with greenery weaves through the site, serving as the main circulation , gathering and socializing while appreciating the historic greenery in the site. The design emphasizes inclusivity and openness, welcoming visitors through carefully angled forms that foster the connection with nature, history and culture.
