The aim of this project is to design a spatial layout for the art festival on a designated site in Bilkent University campus. Data Painting Festival is an installation type of festival and includes Refik Anadol’s art works. Refik Anadol is a Turkish media artist and creator who creates dream-like, abstract environments. This festival consists of two exhibition spaces, workshop and concert area. The spaces designed in a radial system of organization and the layout leads people to experience different atmospheres phase-by-phase. Eventually with experiencing phases in an order, they will exit from the same space as the entrance but with the collective memory they gain.
