Sculpting Time: Istanbul Göksu Urban Revival

The Göksu Revitalization Project aims to transform the area around Göksu Stream in Istanbul into a sustainable living space. The project includes the addition of walking and biking paths along the stream to enhance community interaction. The abandoned rope factory will be converted into a community center and cultural event space, bringing social and economic vitality to the area. An alternative waterway and micro-hydro turbines will provide energy production, promoting environmental sustainability. Additionally, the project will feature community gardens and pottery workshops to strengthen social bonds. The project aims to unlock the area’s potential by preserving its natural and cultural heritage.
