Reconceptualize Urban Mass Housing

In the present housing shortage, it is challenging to locate a housing complex tailored to the unique needs of artists. Consequently, our housing complex project is specifically designed with artists in mind, catering to their requirements and fostering an environment conducive to creativity.

When artists consider settling in a new space, their primary concern is the availability of a workspace that not only meets their needs but also fuels their creative endeavors. Unfortunately, existing housing complexes fall short of satisfying these crucial requirements, compelling artists to invest additional time and money in configuring suitable workspaces for themselves.

The core objective of our design is to directly address the needs of artists within the dwelling units. The layout is intricately planned to provide an optimal setting for their work. Living spaces are streamlined to maximize focus, while underutilized areas are transformed into shared spaces. This intentional design encourages a sense of community among artists, fostering improved communication and heightened productivity in their creative pursuits.

Furthermore, to facilitate the public sharing of their work, the design includes dedicated spaces for exhibitions and performances within the podium section. This not only allows artists to showcase their creations but also creates a platform for artistic expression, fostering a vibrant and supportive community within the housing complex.
