E-CoCITTÀ is located in Ankara/Turkey and designed as a self-sufficient city which performs in a sustainable manner. The project circulates around two courtyards in order to maximise the utilisation from the sunlight while providing views from the inner valley throughout the complex, even from the roof. Moreover, with this “city” concept, the project benefits from different unit typologies, in which the game “Tetris” is used as an inspiration. By doing so, E-CoCITTÀ proposes different unit types to the users with the 3D variations obtained from Tetris. The outer façade is also colour-coded according to different unit types.
