The Marine Hub is a waterfront cultural, educational, and recreational destination that reconnects Famagusta with the Mediterranean Sea while celebrating the city’s maritime heritage and marine ecology. Located along the port-side edge of Famagusta, the project integrates a marine museum, co-learning spaces, workshops, and an entertainment hub, creating a vibrant environment where visitors can engage in hands-on educational activities and gain deeper insight into the coastal ecosystem.The development is designed as a seamless extension of the surrounding landscape, forming a unified waterfront system that strengthens the public character of the port area. An open-air amphitheatre, public promenade, and accessible ramp descend gradually toward the water, encouraging interaction with the coastline and creating gathering spaces for cultural events and community activities. Viewing decks provide opportunities for birdwatching and observing the port’s natural life, while an underwater museum offers an immersive experience that brings visitors closer to the marine environment.
