Located in Atakule Botanical Park in Çankaya, Ankara, this project is the result of an architectural exploration aimed at integrating with and responding to the site’s characteristic topographical features.. During the design process, the dense tree canopy of the area was adopted as the primary point of departure. Moving beyond mere preservation, the project proposes a “Tree-Based Production and Workshop Center” that satisfies the ecological requirements of the site while simultaneously providing an interactive experience for its users. The spatial organization of the structures draws inspiration from the morphological structure of trees, specifically the geometry of branching. While each mass represents a distinct branch moving along its own unique axis, the main volume located at the highest elevation functions as the “trunk” that anchors the entire system. This dynamic configuration has allowed the project to evolve spatially into a clustered organization scheme.The transitions between spaces are articulated as successive steps (stations) of the production and workshop processes, where each enclosure type progresses as a morphological variation of one another. Within these workshop zones, natural subproducts such as cinnamon, gum, and syrup are generated by utilizing the existing trees. Through this circular production model, the project stands as a sustainable center that protects nature, processes raw materials, and redefines human-nature interaction through the act of production.
