The villa is based on the idea of Transcendence, aiming to go beyond physical and spatial limits. Instead of solid walls, an open plan layout allows natural light to shape the spaces. Skylights help separate different areas while bringing light to stairs and corridors. At the client’s request, the garage is visually connected to the house, so cars can be seen from both the living room and the home office. Large windows strengthen the relationship between inside and outside, while concrete and glass form the main exterior expression, with wood used mainly in interior spaces for warmth. In a dense urban setting, a tree-surrounded garden at the back provides privacy, calm, and a sense of retreat.
