The concept of the project is creating a process of reveal between both the spaces and the identity of the house. Open planned interior areas, gradually increasing garden walls and linear wood shaders, which were inspired by Kavaklıdere’s vineyards used to reflect the gradual transitions between spaces. The client does woodcarving and painting. The atelier and an inner garden, which can be used as a dining and exhibition area, were created to allow her to do and show her works. Living room and kitchen spared by a tv unit to create a large open area to create organizational flexibility and bedroom is elevated two meters to add privacy.
