This project centers around the concept of evolution through time, inspired from the transformation parallels of how clay becomes pottery, grapes become wine and people evolve through experience while keeping traces of who they are. Drawing from the histories of Kavaklıdere and pottery, this idea of making origins visible is embodied in the vertical circulation coworking with a kavak tree: a living element that grows upwards while remaining grounded, as well as aging materials like copper. The spaces are grouped according to their privacy and the staircase moves to each group one by one through half floors, as if they are stages we pass in life.
