Motley Plot

The Motley Plot is a mixed-use development combining residential units, service spaces, and public activity areas that support urban infrastructure. An infrastructural podium follows site axes to enable active pedestrian circulation, accommodates diverse programs, and integrates underground parking. The residential complex consists of independent and codependent units for two to six occupants. Housing and facilities are organized around continuous neutral spaces defined by integrated structural cabinets. Cabinet extensions form primary modules, while exterior niche additions attach to them. The massing follows a permutational logic, creating terraced semi-blocks above a varied-height podium. South-facing tilted roofs harvest solar energy.
