Science Museum in Eskişehir
Fragmenting the mass has been one of the major contextual parameters for the design of the science museum in Eskişehir. These fragments helped the integration of open-air spaces offering leisure opportunities while experiencing the museum items. The pieces are then connected both at the underground level and the first-floor level when needed, to ensure the physical continuity of the function for the visitors. The open-air facilities are located around the river side and sustained towards the courtyard formation. Daylight from North had a specific importance for the perception museum items that expressed itself with the façade formation.
