Beyond the Window references Hitchcock\u2019s Rear Window<\/em>, where the act of looking defines power and agency. In contrast, this project reclaims visibility as empowerment. Etimesgut’s future as a sustainable hub depends not only on ecology but also on gender equality. This project empowers women through learning, creation, and economic opportunity, addressing deep-rooted inequalities. The ground floor functions as a street, demonstrating women’s work through exhibitions and retail stores. Upper floors bring elderly and women together, functioning both for accommodation and studios. The angular rigid geometry contrasts with the Eastern orientalist feminine approach, emphasizing women’s visibility yet staying simple with concrete and glass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
