In this project, the concept of “openness” has been explored within a dense and enclosed urban area, without alienating the new structure from it\u2019s context. It is interpreted by creating an open space within the building area and using the surrounding buildings as an outer shell to conceal this open space. It connects what is permanent and what is temporary in means of use and provides different spaces to it\u2019s user.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The design incorporates “tearing away” certain sections to invite users to explore. It prioritizes user circulation by integrating various interconnected spaces into a cohesive whole. Also works the \u2018outer shell\u2019 as variety of buildings to have a more coherent presence within the context.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
