The network of partner Universities included: \u00d6zye\u011fin University, Istanbul; Universit\u00e0 degli Studi di Firenze, Florence; Sapienza Universit\u00e0 di Roma, Rome; Bilkent University, Ankara; Politecnico di Bari, Bari; California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Bilkent University was represented by a team of 5 architectural master program students directed by the visiting assistant professors Giorgio Gasco (ARCH) and Giuseppe Resta (IAED). The Bilkent team worked on site in Ankara and developed a concept called &#8220;Machina&#8221;, an architectural design of a temporary Antiquarium for archaeological finds to be located in the archeological area of the Horrea Agrippiana (a warehouse complex built by Vipsania Agrippa in the 1st century AD) , part of the archaeological site of the Imperial Fora in Rome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The workshop started on June 18, Friday, with the opening international on-line symposium &#8220;Architecture and Archaeology Connections and Oppositions&#8221;, where prof. Giorgio Gasco presented a paper titled : &#8220;Ground Level: conceptualising the proximity between architecture and archaeology&#8221;.
