Duran has completed graduate degree at 1999 (METU), and PhD degree at 2022 (METU) on multidisciplinary sustainable design process management. 
After graduation she worked as a project architect and group manager in various firms, between 2003 and 2011 she has run her own company and acted as partner in other group companies (TM, YPU, YPM..) with her partners and involved in the development of various  significant projects in different typologies and scales worldwide. Between 2012-2019 she has worked  at Oncuo\u011flu Architecture as a general coordinator, being responsible from business development and  total process management of all domestic and international projects.
 
DURAN has  specialized  on Design Process Management and Multidisciplinary Project Development and Process Optimizations. She is also a licensed Assessor on BREEAM International projects Assessment. 
 
Between 2015-2019 Duran has been involved in Academia at different universities giving seminars and teaching multiple courses. Currently  she is working as an Instructor at  Bilkent Univ. Dept of Arch; teaching 3rd year Architectural Design Studio;  Construction and Materials; Professional Practice and Integrated Design Management courses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Architectural Design Development with Bilkent affiliation: After the 2023 earthquake, Arsuz (Hatay) Life Center sought urgent assistance for a new facility and reached us. The project, constrained by five primitive containers, a limited budget, and time, required a comprehensive design. The team BUDA, developed an efficient layout for the complex, completed in a short time. Handed over in June 2023, the client completed construction in approximately four months. Today, the Center is active, thriving on the successful design by Burcu \u015eenyap\u0131l\u0131 \u00d6zcan, Giorgio Gasco, and \u00d6zge Selen Duran 
 
-Architectural Design Development involvement in FADA: conducting feasibility and design development studies for “\u0130hsan & Ayser Dogramac\u0131 Science, Culture and Arts Center”. working collaboratively bw. May-Dec 2023, in order to design and display on th existing and further potentials of the specific building complex, researched on similar significant examples in practice. Within all these data and alternative project studies for the best use of the space,  a comprehensive multidisciplinary study  has been  developed, and presented afterwards to the Rector by the Dean<\/p>\n\n\n\n
