Morocco is celebrated for its rich and diverse architectural features. In the initial phase of the project, the prominent design elements that stood out were the arches and the riad garden. Delving into these features, I chose to emphasize the riad garden as a transitional space connecting the annex and the residency. To facilitate circulation, I integrated barrel vaults into the design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The topography of the site played an important role in establishing a hierarchy between the annex and the residency. Leveraging the landscape, I utilized hallways to ensure privacy between the different rooms. This layout enhances the overall functionality and aesthetics of the embassy residence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The site is approached in two different ways: one for the guests from the multifunctional hall overlooking the vista. The other approach caters to the hosts, accessible from Atat\u00fcrk Boulevard. These dual approaches seamlessly integrate with the architectural design, offering a harmonious and well-considered flow to the entire complex.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
