The competition was held by Hyundai Elevator in Korea, China, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia and Turkey. We congratulate our students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The explanation of the project is as follows:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Throughout history, Turkey has enriched its culture by interacting with many western and eastern communities in the wide geography they have spread. Therefore, Turkish motifs have never consisted of static forms and patterns; they have pursued their transforms in many ways, such as flowers\u2019 patterns on ceramics in Anatolia, dragons\u2019 motifs on carpets in Asia, geometric patterns on Ottoman architecture. Our team wanted to reflect this dynamism of Turkish motifs in our elevator design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project uses a seamless flow of Turkish motifs to emphasize the flow of the elevator. The motifs come from a multidimensional space that is created by an artificial intelligence algorithm which is trained on a dataset that consists of a great variety of Turkish motifs. Motifs on the multidimensional space seamlessly change by some parameters such as the floor that the elevator is in and the time of the year. Therefore, there is a constant flow between unique motifs everytime.
