Bilkent University Department of Architecture is looking for a logo to represent its academic, dynamic, intellectual body of people and knowledge accumulation. The logo should stand for the institutional character of the department while symbolizing architecture as a profession.It should be kept in mind that the logo will most often be used alongside the official logo of Bilkent University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The competition is open to all graduate and undergraduate students of Department of Architecture and Department of Graphic Design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to join the competition, each student needs to team up with a student from the other department. Each student may submit one entry with one team only.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Make sure that both the hard and soft copy submissions are made under a nickname, representing your team and the submissions do not include details about who you are for blind review. Hand in a sealed envelope along with the hard copy submissions, containing information on the members of the team and the nickname.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Format:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The dimensions of the logo should be not longer than 15 cm. and shorter than 4 cm<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hard copies: printed on vertical A4 in the following color formats:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022A CMYK version
\u2022A RGB version
\u2022A black & white version
\u2022A white version on black <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Soft copies: vector files in one single .pdf file.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022Smaller size variants
\u2022Vertical and horizontal application of your logo design<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Type<\/strong> If you are using an already existing typeface for your logo design please also add the typeface information in the pdf file.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Award: 3,000tl for the winning team<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1,000tl for two mensions.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hard copies should be handed in to the Department of Architecture Office and the soft copies need to be mailed to: arch@bilkent.edu.tr<\/p>\n\n\n\n
