Hilmi G\u00fcner was born in 1966 in Ankara. After graduated from TED Ankara College, he gained his undergraduate degree from METU, Dept.of Architecture in 1987. Subsequently, he studied on satellite towns and urban design projects in Germany. He worked in Altay&Altay, To\u011frul Devres, \u00c7inici Architecture, Revolving Fund Projects in Architecture Faculty of METU, Germany and Saudi Arabia. In 1992, he founded Art\u0131 Tasar\u0131m with two co-founders. He has been designing and executing several national and international urban, landscape, architectural and interior design projects. He has been awarded by many prizes in both national and international competition projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Biography:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to his professional practices, he has given lectures at METU and at Bilkent University. In 2008 he founded his own company \u201c Hilmi G\u00fcner Architecture\u201d which has been continuing to work on national and international urban, landscape, architectural and interior design projects as well as consultancy. Hilmi G\u00fcner Architecture aims to produce unique and contemporary architecture, which is developed by the use of advanced technology and materials, by adhering to traditional, cultural and regional values. The firm also gives great emphasis on analyzing and re-interpreting each building within its larger cultural, historical and urban context; rather than treating buildings as isolated entities from their environments.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
