In this presentation, the objective and subjective impacts of the peculiar sound fields within such system of spaces are to be discussed. Monumental historical structures as of S\u00fcleymaniye Mosque and Haghia Sophia in \u0130stanbul and contemporary structures as of Heydar Aliyev Center Auditorium in Baku, Azerbaijan are the selected cases for their sound field analysis and for their acoustical design within the framework of coupled space concept.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Biography:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Z\u00fchre S\u00dc G\u00dcL received her PhD from METU Department of Architecture in 2015 after an MSc degree at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in Troy, NY. She worked at RBDG in Dallas, TX as a designer and acoustician until 2008. Currently, she is a part time-instructor of Bilkent University Department of Architecture and the president of MEZZO St\u00fcdyo Ltd.
