How do the public authorities dealing with urban planning envision this new city? This presentation deconstructs the public authorities\u2019 discourse on urban change\/ kentsel d\u0151n\u0171\u015f\u0171m. Special emphasis will be given to the discursive mechanisms that legitimize urban actions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Biography:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Annemarie Strihan is an architect and, currently, an instructor at the Department of Architecture, Bilkent University. She received her Ph.D. in City and Regional Planning from the University of Pennsylvania.
